Unchecked A tip from the community or a public source. Sounds good, but we have not been able to confirm it ourselves yet.
Partner We work with the provider or the project belongs to our network. We say so.
There are no paid placements. Nobody can buy a Checked label. The order in the directory is: Checked first, then Partner, then Unchecked, each alphabetical.
Every submitted tip is read. We check whether the provider exists and whether the contact details are right. It then appears as Unchecked. It only becomes Checked once someone from the team or several independent readers have confirmed it. Providers who list themselves are marked as owner entries.
Prices, numbers and opening hours change quickly on Zanzibar. If you notice something wrong, tell us. We correct it as soon as possible and update the date.
